Resumen del concurso

This contest is for the design of a character for a mobile stock-trading game. The character will represent a “challenger” to the player, opposing them and acting as their rival, to spur competition. The character will also have a speech bubble that adds commentary and reacts to the player. We’re looking for the applicant to write five sample text snippets as well (whatever fits comfortably within a speech bubble, 15 words max). The text should be dialogue that challenges the player, telling them they can’t do it, etc.

The character should match the theme of the existing designs for the app. Please see the attached graphics for the look-and-feel desired. The game is based on trading stocks. The characters should be human.

The winner of this initial contest will be chosen for a follow-up project that expands on this contest. That project will be worth $850 and include:
- 6 new poses for the character designed in this contest, with 12 new sample texts challenging the player;
- A new character with 7 poses (the “Supporter”), and 14 text samples offering support to the game player;
- Another new character with 5 poses (the “Figure of Success”), and 10 samples of text, for example “3 other players won today, can you do it?”. (This dialogue will have access to previous game winners, so can include their names in the dialogue)

Applicants for this contest should also be prepared to complete the entire design package above for the combined fee of $1,000 (an additional $850). Note that the contest is being judged on only:
- the first character;
- in a single pose; with
- 5 dialogue samples
