We are a rural broadband provider launching a fiber internet service and need a new design to go with the launch. Our current brand is Tennessee Wireless. As we expand our services into fiber we want a brand that stands apart but still connected to the existing wireless brand. Some descriptors that identify our brand: quality, fast, local, freedom, liberty, connected, rural, community, professional, cord cutter, lightening, zap, power. The domain name for this project will be connecttn.com. Our current domain is tennesseewireless.com.

  I am open to changing the colors. I would like something to tie back to the current brand identification, color, font, etc... but if there is something that really stands out, I'm willing to depart from that.

BTW, as a matter of trying to keep it simple for the pole, I'm going to probably just reject the 3D versions of the logos and keep the white background options. My preference would be for a white background, with a color scheme that would match or coordinate with the current Tennessee Wireless artwork I supplied. (It doesn't have to be a direct match, but something that obviously has a connection to it. Thanks again!

Folks, I am overwhelmed by the number of responses and the quality of the design work. Thank you all very much for your participation. I would like to see some additional concepts around the themes I just recommended to Julius in his post below. My plan is to launch an internal poll to our employees and board member families tomorrow night. I will follow up with comments and feedback from the poll and then we will make the final selection once there has been time for you to make edits based on that information. Also, it might be helpful to include the word Fiber, since we are connecting the homes and business through a fiber connection. If not using the work, we would like to convey the concept of making a high speed gigabyte fiber connection.

An additional thought as I am reviewing the great submissions. What if we used the entire spelling of Tennessee instead of just the TN abbreviation? So the logo could include "Connect Tennessee" and not just "Connect TN".
