As time passes by, I begin to realize that life can be unfair. Leaving us paralyzed. Not being able to move at a fast pace. Some of us shut down and curl up into a cocoon. Our surroundings become dark and alone, making it feel as if we can’t express ourselves because of what society might think. We become damaged. Tears begin to form but never end up shedding. The process of recovery may take us years. But I’m here to tell you that although we may be broken, damaged, taken for granted, misused, abused, have personal struggles, and the list can go on, the main message here is we are all beautiful. We are all valuable as much as we are vital. I want to introduce to you a movement I’d like to call “Broken Butterfly” join together with me and stand against the cruelty of this world by loving yourself no matter what you may look like. Life is beautiful, and so are you.
