Need a standard template for a series of reports in Word. Report includes several graphs & tables (excel) and we need to improve presentation, better color schemes & presentation. It's important for the report template to have a consistent, clean look, in line with the brand identity (see logo on front page). Extras (lines, color splashes, etc.) should be minimal and unobtrusive.

Please review & improve the 6-point color scheme presented on table on p 6. The revised color scheme should be applied to chart on p. 3, and tables on pp. 2 & 3, and document header. Use the logo for inspiration.

Also, please review & improve the 3-point rating scheme presented on p. 7 and in table on p. 2. We don't much like the current checkmark, -, and !! scheme.

Attached is the report along with the excel file containing the relevant tables.

The final template must be in Word and be easily editable for new documents, e.g. we should be able to replace with different text and values. The tables with a lot of data (e.g. on pp.3 & 4) should be populated directly from excel. Others can be modified in either Word or Excel.

We have another, larger project for an upcoming whitepaper that runs ~30pp. with multiple tables & graphs. We would prefer to use the same designer for both this template and the whitepaper, so if you win the contest, we'll probably hire you for the whitepaper as well. We propose a budget of $350 for the whitepaper, and you'll have a week to complete it (Nov 9-13). The current draft of the whitepaper is attached for your reference (there's no need to do any work on this for the contest).

Please consider the overall layout -- you are free to change the table look and page design. I want you to think outside the box and not be limited to what I have here. The only limit is that the tables/charts need to remain in the pages where they are currently located. If you would like to lengthen the document, so that some of this flows over more pages, that's fine too. If you want to submit just 1-2 pages to get my feedback, please feel free, before proceeding to the rest.
