This contest has been created to help find an illustrator who can assist our company with a new product line. We are a game design company who manufactures game pieces and 3D game boards. This project is to design new basing for miniatures.

Many 3D games use miniatures and these miniatures are adhered to bases ranging from 20mm to 120mm. We need illustrations which represent the terrain or textures on which these miniatures stand. We will be turning these illustrations into printed stickers that will be applied to the plastic bases.

What is wanted for this Contest - 2 sample illustrations in color:
1 - Illustrate a top view of a section of cobblestone street and include within this space some trash and a large rat. The illustration needs to represent a space of about 8' in diameter. (this is equivalent to a 28mm figure on a 40mm base)
2 - Illustrate a top view of a section of wooden planking from an ancient sailing ship and include within this space a coil of rope and broken bucket. The illustration needs to represent a space of about 8' in diameter.

The winner of this contest will be awarded $100 and in addition, we will negotiate a deal for additional illustrations for the many other designs we need. It should be a significant amount of work for the next several weeks.

Hi Everyone. I was not expecting photo images for this project. The request was for illustrations or at least that was my intent. I'm not completely sold that the idea of using images is a good way to go for this project. I have not rejected the two submissions but I'm not rating them at this time either.
