My wife and I will be renovating our kitchen for May/Jun 2019 and looking for interior design ideas. We will be doing a full overhaul of the paint, cabinets, counter-tops, appliances, flooring, etc. The only caveat is that we are looking to keep the same layout to reduce costs related to plumbing, electricity, etc. I have attached the floor plan layout, also indicating that the wall marked with the red area will be knocked down for a kitchen island.

A couple key points:
- Kitchen island area: we would like to have some sort of lighting or fixture above this
- Sink area must also have a dishwasher
- Ceiling height is about 9 foot
- Fridge is too small for our current use, will likely want the new layout to fit a bigger

Also added a couple of inspirations on what we tend to like. Color themes are a mix of white & grey

LATEST UPDATE:
- Entry #8 is the closest to our layout thus far. Please refer to this when doing your design. We are open to other color scheme, and also switching the fridge location with the stove
