Glacial Ridge Realty

VISION
We are looking for a logo that will represent the geographic area that our business is located in.

The Glacial Ridge is an area in Minnesota that is scenic and beautiful. Nearby is Glacial Lakes State Park which includes the glacial mountains that were formed millions of year ago by the coming together of two tectonic plates, prairies, lakes, and beautiful conifer trees.

The logo we have in mind would have 3 colors: Blue, White, Green

This is the vision of the owner, in his words:
“I think the logo should be simple maybe in Green like forests, white for the Glacier and Blue like lakes. I could see a ridge with a stream coming down into a lake with some evergreen trees around. Underneath would be the name. Maybe a soft curved rectangle. Or Oval. Nice strong Fonts that can be used in Letterhead and other Marketing, but not so obscure that no one has it.”

This logo will be used across all items, from business cards and letterhead, to postcards, websites, social media, garments, and promotional items.

The logo should be as simple as possible while representing the feel of the area of the Glacial Ridge.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
The logo should be created in a vector program such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, or similar. Please do not use Photoshop for this design.

Colors
The design should incorporate flat colors without gradients, shading, or shadows.
The color profile should be done in CMYK color format.

We would like two color version for the logo. One that works well on dark backgrounds, another that will work better on light backgrounds.

Text
The text: Glacial Ridge Realty should be in a strong or bold font. We will require the name of the font used and a link to where the font can be obtained.

File Formats
For final file delivery, we would ideally like an AI file (.ai). An EPS would be acceptable as well.
For proofs, please provide either jpg files or PDF files where the text has been outlined.

The final base file should be delivered with outlined text and, as mentioned above, the name of the font used.

Hi folks... Thanks again for the entries.. We're looking for a design that doesn't have such a high peak in the mountain or trees. A ridge is not a mountain. Please keep that in mind. We're liking a few of the remaining designs a lot but most need some minor adjustments so there isn't such a high peak on the top.

Thanks for the entries so far. I want to clarify that we're looking for something depicting a ridge, not a mountain. We don't want to see mountain peaks.

"A ridge is a geological feature consisting of a chain of hills or rises that form a continuous elevated crest for some distance." NOT MOUNTAINS.
