Resumen del concurso

(This should be 12 minutes work, we based it on $150/hour)

I need 3D “neon-ish” rendering of a LED bar, please make it 30 x 5 mm.

Do NOT make a simple lime colored rectangle, we need a neon style rendering of green LEDs, a bit like the 3th image with the gold borders.

If you really want to impress:-), make 1 with rainbow too!

If we pick you, we expect the source files for rendering (incl. sld part/assets files) in Keyshot

The attached files are just examples

does it specifically have to be solidworks? I can do it in Rhinoceros, STL, STEP whatever you require.

    ABOUT REQUIRED VIDEO:

“You asked for it when you posted”

This is not true, we didn’t and don’t require a video format and we didn’t select an option to do so!

This is a glitch of Freelancer software: if you leave the required skills “Video Services” enables, their programmer (in his infinite wisdom) decided that THEN it would be mandatory to submit a video... there are smart programmers, and you have stupid ones...

So you may not ask for something even barely RELATED to video, obviously. Like a screenshot for a movie:-)

If you have something, send it to me through a private message. We’ll post the result!

I don't clearly understand, you want a rendered image right? why the entry file has to be in video format?

When you created the contest you set the parameters for the type of files that can be submitted to you. We are limited to video files.

Seriously? I even don’t know what you’re talking about... I didn’t select (nor limit to) any type!

Do you have pictures of the actual device you speak of? That would help alot. I can sign an NDA or whatever you need. A quick thumbnail sketch would work too. We going for realism here or are you compositing the LED into a image? Lets work this out. Seems like a pretty interesting project? This like a E-Battery?

      Hi Brandon,

Thank you for trying! It’s not completely what we meant:-)

We have a small device, size match box, with a 30x5 led bar on top. Individual LEDs are barely visible, and firmware sets the bar to 1 or multiple colors. It seems to be a huge problem to visualize that decently, nobody seems to be able to show a decent rendering.

What I’m kind of looking for, is a neon style (like the attached picture bar with a (half) transparent glow, and since the devices are dark, bronze and gold green seems to be the perfect match (but we’re considering to also show the fact that colors are changing)

      Wish I’d be a 3D designer myself:-)

      Thank you again,
      Peter
