Planning to Build a Small Cabin in North Texas, USA.
Looking for a Concept Floor Plan and Concept Structure Design.
(NOT CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT – JUST THE CONCEPT)
Currently we are in planning Phase and like to Visualize – What kind of Space can be Achieved in this Small Footprint Building and how Easily can be constructed.
Attached File (Images and SketchUp) should have all the information you need. If any Dimensions not provide – Decide as you discretion.
Nice to Have:
- Two Floor
- Two Bedroom, One Bath, Living, Kitchen
- If the Bathroom has be in to First Floor, Add Powder Room Below
- Normal Stairs (No Ladder)
- Minimalistic Design
Design Consideration
- Should be Wood Frame House – 2x4/2x6/2x8 Etc
- Efficient Framing
- Use Engineered Wood if Required
- All Material used Should be Easily available at Home Center (Home Depot/Lowes) or Building Supply Store in USA.
- All Door, Window and Skylight (Size, Location) used in the File – is just for Rendering Purpose – Please Change as its Fit.
If the Provided Fund is too low – Please reach out to me and we can discuss – again, just looking for a concept, No construction Document.

A serious question though: have you ever seen a church that covers up the view up to its dome? You essentially would be closing up the most characteristic view of this architectural structure: the peak of your dome. So you are essentially building a two storey, very traditional house, that looks fancy from the outside but is totally mainstream from the inside. Good luck!   Foundation will be totally depend on the soil condition (soil testing report), as of now lets consider Pier & Beam. It's too early to decide the foundation system.
