Ya existe una nueva versión de la famosa abeja robótica que vuela utilizando energía solar, y que se ha modificado para incluirle un mayor número de alas a su pequeño cuerpo. Según el portal Computer Hoy, los investigadores de laboratorio de microrobótica de Harvard han presentado al público la que sería la última versión de su abeja robótica RoboBee, apodada como X-Wing. Para los que no lo sepan, RoboBee es un pequeño robot inspirado en la biología de una abeja que originalmente contaba con solo dos alas y pesaba menos de 1g, y que dependía de una cuerda para poder volar.
