Imaging Jobs
Imaging is the application of digital imagery, powerful equipment and technology to capture, analyze, manipulate and display images for a variety of purposes. Imaging engineers are specialists in the use of imaging to solve problems in various fields, including science, healthcare and industry. An Imaging engineer uses imaging technology to capture photos and create models that can be used for diagnostics, evaluation and machining processes.
As an Imaging Engineer, you can use your technical skills to solve complex problems through the synthesis of real-world data with sophisticated software systems. In the healthcare field they can create detailed 3D visualisations of the human body which can be used to diagnose diseases and injuries. In the industry space they can use imaging to improve the productivity of machinery such as 3D printing equipment, optical navigation modules and accelerometers.

Trying to get facial images enhanced well enough to use facial recognition software
The main objective of this method is to detect DR(Diabetic Retinopathy) eye disease using Image Processing techniques. Automating the process using Convolutional neural networks to speed up blindness detection in patients before its too late. Eye retina images contain artifacts, some of them are out of focus, underexposed, or overexposed etc. Also, some of the images have low brightness and low lightning conditions thus making it difficult to assess the difference between the images. First we do image preprocessing by applying Gaussian blur to bring out distinctive features in the images. In Gaussian Blur operation, the image is convolved with a Gaussian filter which is a low-pass filter that removes the high-frequency components . Then convert the RGB scale images to Gray scale images and...
