Dear Freelancers,
I am looking for an attorney/lawyer or creative freelancer like me who can provide me help with creating Contract Agreement that would protect my brand development. I am talking about putting materials into my portfolio and being able to keep entitled as an original author of the materials.
I am software developer so most of the materials is written code.
I also design all the graphical materials since I am providing full development of the product.
I have to be able to build my brand and be able to post my works on my portfolio (screenshots, snippets of code, videos)
I was asked recently to sign "Work for Hire" contract but after I did my research I realized that I don't have a any Author Rights and that my client basically can force me to remove the materials from the website or claim any authorship.
I cannot afford to sign such agreements since that is killing my business growth.
I am looking for somebody who is familiar with EU laws and could write a single agreement (or provide me a copy of one) that would give my client all the rights except those that I need to guarantee my authorship a protection which is most probably preserving the Authoring Right itself.
If you are creative freelancer like me and have such agreement already (tested in the action) I willing to pay for a consultation and copy.
For an attorney my initial offer is 200$ but negotiable. You have to be able to prove that you are lawyer and be registered in your country.
For creatives if you prove yourself with a quality portfolio and reputation I can pay 20$ right away for the copy of the agreement plus short Q&A.
I will pick the most competent freelancers.
