I have a number of excel spreadsheets (all in the same format). In each spreadsheet, each row contains end of day historical price data and a numbers from technical indicators
The columns are OPEN, HIGH, LOW, CLOSE, INDICATOR 1, INDICATOR 2, INDICATOR 3,
I would like you to program a VBA macro to run several strategies (probably less than 5 strategies) on the data.
A strategy is a set of rules to enter and exit trades. For example an entry signal might be: IF moving average value (20 days) > moving average value of (100 days) then BUY a stock.
I will provide the rules to you to code for each strategy.
I would also like information shown such as profit/loss on each trade, total profit loss on the account, number of winning/losing trades, % of winning/losing trades, what % of the total capital is lost at any one time (drawdown) etc.

The key features that I see in a project like yours would be the professional presentation of the resulting data and the accuracy.
The modules of this application would be divided in INPUT Sheets, PARAM Sheets(containing the parameters of the calculations) and some OUTPUT Sheets containing the output results presented using indicators, graphs or pivot tables.
I just finished a smart VBA tool that was looping trough the excels files from a folder in order to import and process them based on some configurable parameters.

I work extensively with Excel VBA at work and I have also done a similar project using Python. If it helps, I also have experience with trading. Mostly options, not much on stocks or forex.
Thinking about this project, I'm suggesting one milestone for the project is to output number of transactions for a few of the strategies and profits only. (This is more of an insurance for us that there is commitment on both ends as I have been screwed over previously)
