Java Jar file not starting on doubleclick

I have a Java project which works fine when I run it in Eclipse. However the jar file does not start on all devices on double-click. On some devices it starts on double-click, on others not. It always starts when I run it in the command line terminal. This problem came only recently into the project. A while ago the jar file started on all devices without any problem. It seems that we changed something in the workspace and this change caused the problems. For a programmer who knows what is the problem it is probably a work of 10 mins or so. Please start your proposal with the word jar that I know you have read the posting.

Hello, The issue with your jar file is that is using the installed JRE I thtink. You should be distributing the programmed JRE with your file and create a command file for launch instead of double clicking the JAR.
