Descripción del Proyecto

I am looking for a Technical Architect who has experience creating technical documentation (E-R diagrams, data dictionaries, technical specifications, flowcharts, etc) and who has hands-on Visual Basic 6.0 and Classic ASP experience. They should be very comfortable with Microsoft SQL Server and have strong database design skills. The ideal candidate would also be fluent in C# .NET

We have a web application that's written primarily in classic ASP. There are also some back-end components in VB 6.0 and VBScript. The DBMS is SQL Server. There is a lot of behind the scenes logic and a lot of APIs implemeneted to interface with other systems/services.

I want to be able to scale this project. I want to be able to add more developers to the team so that overall development time can be sped up. We currently have one lead developer. A second developer was added a few months ago, but she is still struggling to get up to speed.

I think lack of documentation may be a bottleneck. So I think the first priority might need to be creating documentation so that a developer who didn't write the original code can quickly understand what they would need to do to modify a given component of the system.

I would also be looking for the selected candidate to participate in the ongoing development. And to advise on strategy for scaling the development and the development team. For example, should we migrate to C# and if so, when?
