My 2020 tax return exceeds my abilities with TurboTax. I am looking for someone more experienced to prepare my taxes and answer questions about certain topics.
I am aware that the 2020 tax deadline is already upon us, however, I am not in a hurry. I would like everything sorted out and on "the right track" for 2021.
This will be an annual opportunity. After this initial project, I am also seeking recurring support to make future tax seasons less difficult and ensure compliance.
Some key details and complexities of my tax situation for 2020:
-Primary residence in California, US
-Single W2 for income from employment (100% earned in CA only)
-Sold a home in Virginia, US (need assistance determining if capital gains applies and, if so, calculating)
-Paid contractors for improvements to that home prior to sale (may need to send late forms)
-Several appliances conveyed with home sale and were listed as depreciating assets on prior returns
-Member-manager of a two-person LLC with no income yet, started in 2019, loss only for 2019/2020
-Several questions related to LLC, may need assistance filing other forms
-May need assistance amending prior year returns (if needed - pending your counsel)
