Build AWS test platform

I have been closely working on AWS for last 4 years and I am AWS certified Solutions Architect. Have knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud as well. I have worked on Cloud Assessment, Migration and Cloud Enablement projects for big companies and clients, on platform like (IaaS and PaaS) and (Public Cloud / Private Cloud / Hybrid). I can help design the architecture for you, however a guarantee of response in less than 200 milliseconds cannot be given. To scale up the application we would need to migrate the database to RDS and there is no SLA on the response time for queries to RDS but can test and check. Human to prove that I have read through. Getting data from MySQL (billion rows) will need a perfectly tuned server, with intermediate cache if data change is not that frequent. With the technology that you have in mind, there will be EC2 instances, AWS Elastic Loadbalancer, AWS Route53 and ElasticCache cluster involved. I would suggest that you should look into moving off the traditional technology onto AWS Managed Services, where instead of php, the API functions could be rewritten in Node.js or Python and deployed on AWS Lambda, with interfacing using AWS API Gateway, simulating exactly the same existing api. Database could be migrated to DynamoDB. This will make sure that you have perfect server-less solution, which can scale up or down without any complications. This is just a suggestion from an AWS Consulting Partner. Will give you both traditional and suggested. If you need our team to build the Node.js API we can do it as a different project. I have been developing, supporting and debugging on PHP-MySQL for over 15 years now, and exposed to AWS close to 7 years.
