I am a recent UT Austin Anthropology graduate who is eager to work in the cultural resources industry. I was an Orientation Advisor at UT-Austin where I became familiar with the high intensity and high responsibility environment that comes with new student orientation,
program presentation and registration deadlines. I have archaeological field work experience through the Bagunte Archeological Field School based in Vila do Conde, Portugal and I am eager to apply my skills in working as a Field Technician to the position. There I learned the skills necessary to conduct excavations but also how to be precise, accurate, and detailed with how information is relayed to others. I greatly enjoyed my time studying archeology and having my hands dirty in the field during my time as a student, and since then, I have been in search of an opportunity to work. I am confident that I would be an ideal candidate for the position. My experience with multiple professional and student populations have prepared me for this new role. My enclosed application, resume, and references further outline my skills and experience. My experience studying Anthropology and working hands on in the research field makes me an ideal candidate to read and review articles.
