FEMALE LEADERS
By Jed Kemsley
WHEN it comes to female leadership, look no further than Michelle Obama.
The former First Lady of the White House, and wife of Former President Barack Obama, has been in a position of leadership for more than 8 years, from January 2009 to January 2017, the whole time she was First Lady.
During her time as First Lady, Mrs Obama instilled a number of core values into the female psyche, particularly in the United States, empowering women to achieve their own work and life balance.
For example. When Mrs Obama became First Lady, she had to change a few things in her own life... first of all, she had to respond to public criticism... and come up with new ideas all of the time, such as the Get Moving America initiative, to help young American kids lose weight and get healthy.
Then, Mrs Obama had to do a few more things to achieve her own work-life balance... she had to continue working hard in the White House, as well as maintaining her own family life, which includes looking after Mr Obama and their two children.
Women all over the world have looked to Michelle Obama as a source of inspiration and positive female leadership, and they continue to do so.
Another female leader we have today is Melania Trump, wife of current U.S President Donald Trump.
Mrs Trump is working hard to lead women all over the world to believe in themselves!
