I am a Georgian English teacher Mzia lezhava.
Georgia (the former USSR) is the exotic, beautiful country of unique history, language, with hospitable nation, located in the continent of Asia among the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea by the wings of the huge Caucasus mountain. After collapsing the USSR Georgia became an independent state in 1991 until today it is recovering its pains and we, society still meet the huge financial obstacles.
Couple years ago, I felt like a writer … I wrote articles in the newspapers, poems for the lovely people, stories and tales to amuse my children and then grandchildren. Little by little I became bold enough and today I have a manuscript in English. I am thrilled to publish a book, but I have no finances and I need a native speaker leader, who would like to help me before publishing the book. I am thrilled if appears a kindhearted freelancer, she or he, and we shall turn the manuscript into a book.
I am the Founder and Academic Director of the Private School and the Educational Resource Center in Chiatura, one of the Tiny towns of Georgia. I am Awarded by the US Embassy and American Councils for TEA Georgia Award for teachers of English and American Studies and for PIE Program Regional Finalist in the United States. Awarded by the ,,Order of Honors and the Name of the USSR Successful Teacher”, the ,,Orders of Honors of Georgia” by the Georgian Government (two times), received the Scholarship from the President of Georgia for the personal contribution in the sphere of education of youth, reform and teachers’ training sphere at the Ministry of Education Georgia. Graduating from the Advanced Education System International American High School, I had been granted by the US Embassy, Tbilisi, and founded the ,,Educational Resource Center for Democratic Development ,,NILEMI” (The US Embassy, Tbilisi grant in 2003 year) in Georgia. The UK Ambassadors in Georgia Stefan Nash and Mr. Richard Jenkins visited my School. Honoring them the School received the ,,Certification on the official Representation from the United World School of English Bournemouth, UK, and my students and me visit England every Summer for 11 years. Last year my research had been recognized for ,,Excellent Research Presentation at the Canadian-American Conference For Academic Disciplines”.
My private School and Education Center hosted and cooperated with the wonderful American English teachers (Lynn Grantz, Maggie McEllhannon, Robert Witney Connon, Emily Anderer, Danae Olsen) in my private School. Robert loved Georgia and Georgian society so much, that I became his GODMOTHER. Meeting and working with the foreign scholars, had always been updated, cutting edge, experience and intellectual development for my smart, but not rich Georgian students.
