Name: Marc Gingell
Nationality: British (From Southampton)
Background: Management Accounting / Project Management / Procurement / Writing
Current Location: Thailand
I’ve been involved in all kinds of different writing projects all my life in one way or another. Books, Content Writing, eBooks, Business Reports, Sports Reports, Proofreading, Researching, and Article Writing.
My life is split in 2 stages.
Stage 1. England. Where I lived and worked until the age of 38.
Stage 2. Thailand. Where I have lived and worked for the last 22 years.
For stage 1 I worked behind a desk and rarely took a look outside. Stage 2 is different. I’ve released myself from the chains that help me to my desk and developed more skills. Especially after spending ten years with General Motors (Thailand) where I took some opportunities that came my way. This included a move to Project Management which turned out to be a perfect position for me. In 2009, with GM in trouble, the Thai operation down sized and I took voluntary redundancy. This is when I turned my attention to full time writing.
I wrote Brian Jacks’s autobiography. He’s a British sporting legend who took part in 4 Olympics. He said this:
“Marc Gingell is a wonderful writer dedicated and does not give in. He has a very professional approach. He did a fantastic job and he has an amazing work ethic. He made my book happen.”
I’d love the opportunity to discuss more about your project with you.
Best wishes,
Marc
