Download site for customers
We would like to have a web-site created for our customers, from which they can:
1. Download latest releases of our software products
2. Download their license file
3. Download hotfixes, usermanuals and browse videotutorials.
4. Read latest news
The site should be protected by username and password, and it should be possible to request both username and password by e-mail if forgotten.
The customer shall have access to the entire software library (eg. he shall be allowed to download all software releases and patches), but only access to his own licensefile.
We would like to keep the layout in the same colors and structure as our current website, and the coding should be either ASP og ASP.net.
The database behind will be MS SQL 2005.
There shall also be some static pages, where we will be able to fill in information about support, contact info, knowledgebase link etc.
We will host the web-site and the development can take place on our server, or it can be uploaded when finished.
A backend to handle the site will also be needed, from which it will be possible to maintain the system and do the following:
• Create customers
• Reset passwords
• Assign and upload license files
• Upload product revisions (zip files) as well as editing the descriptions
• Uploading and editing documentation
• Editing documentation types
The backend should be created in either ASP, ASP.net (as web-applications) or as a .net windows application.
