The geneva mechanism (also known as the maltese cross mechanism) requires more details to be properly designed. Also for a fully functional mechanism, I will need to know some working parameters (load, position, speeds, etc, etc) What drives the arm and what the wheel drives? I have worked on the similar project before just that The project was Geneva Wheel Paper cutting mechanism. This would be easy to design and Model in a software.
