II have recently experienced and survived a brain tumour and stroke and I would like to write a book about my journey to hire someone who can help me write this book I would like to have it written within 3-4 months and I would like to offer a price for the project not an horly rate I think this will depend on how the project is handled so for me the priority is to find someone who i can connect with and who understands my journey to be able to best write about it. I have so much in my head and once I find the right candidate I will be guided by how best to proceed Hi my name is Maria. The feelings you had while going through what you went through would probably be a good thing to express so that anyone that is dealing with someone that is going through something similar can understand the frustrations and pain or whatever is going on. Probably good to have a before and after picture of what you were like and then what you're now like so people understand that. I am good with emotional writing. I've written poems that deal with emotional topics like suicide and the negative weight of my own issues. I understand how the mind can work against one. Hi Maria, What a harrowing experience you have endured; I think it is amazing that you have come from that with the desire to help others move forward. You sound like a very inspiring person and I would be truly honoured to help you write your book. How many words/ pages would you like the book? I believe a 3 or 4 month time frame is doable. I think the best way to go about the project may be through a loose interview style. Depending on a time zone difference and Freelancer's rules, we may be able to connect through a video call. I think an interview would lead to a very natural progression of your story and it may help fill in any blanks that readers may come up with. However, telling your story through a voice recording may be easier as it would work on both our schedules. If I were to come up with questions, I could ask them and have you send your answer through more voice recordings (don't worry about hiring a transcriber as well!). The best way to communicate would likely be through the Freelancer chat system, and possibly voice/video calls depending on Freelancer's rules.
