Hi! I got trough your project description and I'm familiar with most of parts you've described because of developing a device based on ESP32, containing data logging to server (JSON over mgtt), on site network configuration, and remote firmware update (OTA) from a given repository. For Wi-Fi network settings the ESP32 can create its own AP, running a small HTTP "server", you can access it from your mobile device, for example, and load the page on any web browser. I have custom functions to perform OTA FW update, verifying the downloaded binaries and functions to restore previous FW (roll back) in case of not proper operation of the new one. Just a few words I want warn you about: 1) If you want this device to run from a battery, you must consider the high power consumption of ESP32 when the RF part is on and especially working with Wi-Fi, but it is true for BT too. According to our investigations, the ESP32 module can consume up to 500mW/H energy what is quite a lot for a battery. 2) The ESP32 still has RF part concerning issues showing in inability to work with Wi-Fi or BT because of some reasons. 3) Do you thinking about using the ESP32 IC or the ESP32-WROOM module, both of them has their advantages and negative sides. This project has 3 part, PCB Hardware,Firmware inside that and Enclosure. Firmware should have these capability : * scan for BLE tags * gather their list * do some calculation on gathered list * send them by HTTP/Json to our server * also send device info to two server every 30 seconds. * easy to configure * connect to wireless networks easily. * Web Based network configuration page. * OTA Hardware should have : * Base on ESP32 * Have lithium battery charger inside * should be able to detect input power source (onBattery or AC) Free lancer should select proper ready enclosure in market for this device. We need firmware source code and pcb design files and one working sample of device. High quality project is so important for us. Using espressif firmware is recommended compare with arduino.
