Hi, I earlier worked with CVPR database of fingerprint. Fingerprint recognition was done into two measure steps: 1. preprocessing 2. classification after feature extraction In pre-processing step which is very important following sub steps were followed: a) Input a finger print image b) Conversion to gray scale image c) Binarization d) Histogram base equalization e) Noise removal using median filter f) Segmentation using block based technique ANFIS classifier was used for recognition purpose.
