Expand SQLite's ability to parse foreign data

SQLite provides a great system which uses a binary data file (B-Tree) to store it's data while not requiring any running database server. I would like to be able to use the SQLite engine on other flat file binary data. It would seem that there will need to be a few adjustments in column separator definitions, as well as other definitions, but most things should not need to be changed, such as this: /* Input "x" is a sequence of unsigned characters that represent a ** big-endian integer. Since we are supporting foreign data, we would need to be able to set some configuration differences such as whether to use big or little endian, external column headers and the data field delimiter, potentially offset and record length on a per file / table basis. These alterations should be abstracted from the existing code into one or two configuration files rather than needing to hunt through multiple locations that are simply labeled as places to update. Anyone applying for this job should be prepared to show previous experience working in C and experience with parsing data files. Sample data files will be provided. Final product should compile to be used within .NET application
