Dear Sir, I would like to present my self as prospective candidate to do your project. I have sound knowledge in designing of electronic circuits. and programming of Raspberry Pi, Arduino and PC. Also I'm capable of designing of combined systems based on all three, Raspberry Pi, Arduino and PC. For your project I think it is better to use Arduino. Arduino dose have Analog to Digital Convertor (ADC) where Raspberry Pi don't have. Also the Arduino operate with 5V and Raspberry Pi works with 3.3V. Therefore I would like to propose you to use Arduino for the project. Also regarding the LED you want to change colour. Are those RGB LEDs or Neo PIXEL LEDs ? Hello. I can do it in a few days on the rpi, arduino, pic, cypress, ti or any controller that you pick. I will use a simple sound sensor and a led driver or directly transistors to switch colors/drive them based on your requirements. I can also design a multiplexer/chain based rgb led control and or relay switched based on the number of led`s and colors you want based specs. Also I will provide you with schematics, code and instructions how to build and wire everything up. Hi, It seems easy and trivial. I can design it for you and help you with the connections/construction by giving you instructions. Nevertheless I should ask you about the lights: Leds ? (Obviously...) Led tapes? (probably..) Perhaps something like WS2812 strip?
