Unity programmer for raycast scripting of humanoid and animal characters on terrain

I need a unity programmer that can create a script with that it would be possible to attach it to any humanoid or animal character (2 feet or more) and have a raycast check and adjust feets to be aligned with terrain if parent object is close to terrain, the humanoid / animal character would be children gameobjects of a first person view cylinder collider that pushes the character forward, problem with that the characters behave like boxes and can be pushed into the terrain when cylinder is going forward, so that script needs to scan via raycast the feet and terrain distance of the 3rd person character (child object) and adjust the position of this character (human or animal 2 or more feet's)

hi, I a developer using unity 2018.2.13f1 free personal edition and c# scripting, I've read your description, I've some questions please: 1-do you want single ray cast the adjusts all the feets positions to be on the ground? or multiple rays (a ray for each feet)? 2-is this task just a coding task or will it need also editing in the 3d model itself? thanks
