Character Development Lesson Plans for Elementary, Middle, and High School Students

This project requires a teacher or a writer with an interest or background in education to create a series of lesson plans to assist teachers in delivering lessons in the areas of: * Resilience * Courage * Looking on the Bright Side * Feelings * Relationships * Humor, Personality, and Beliefs * Bullying * Success & Winning * Self Esteem & Taking Control A level of creativity and flair is required in developing each lesson plan and the use of games, group activities, story telling, worksheets, handouts, and scenes from popular feature films to illustrate each concept is encouraged. ## Deliverables This project requires a teacher or a writer with an interest or background in education to create a series of lesson plans to assist teachers in delivering lessons in the areas of: * Resilience * Courage * Looking on the Bright Side * Feelings * Relationships * Humor, Personality, and Beliefs * Bullying * Success & Winning * Self Esteem & Taking Control A level of creativity and flair is required in developing each lesson plan and the use of games, group activities, story telling, worksheets, handouts, and scenes from popular feature films to illustrate each concept is encouraged. This project requires the development of approximately 40 lesson plans with variations for the 4 different age groups: 5-7 years: Lower Elementary 8-10 years: Middle Elementary 11-14 years: Upper Elementary/Junior High 14-16 years: High School **Each area has been broken down into the following topics:** (You can also see possible lesson suggestions by downloading the attached PDF document.) You have flexibility in creating this project. For example some more advanced topics may only be introduced to students in the later age groups. ?
