I want to call a function in a dynamic library coded in C++ from VBA in Excel for Mac 2016. Regardless of where I place the .dylib file, VBA does not find it. I understand it is due to restrictions to access files in certain locations (macOS sandboxing). I've tried various solutions I found online but not results. I placed the .dylib file in directories /usr/local/bin
/usr/bin, /usr/sbin, but have not been able to solve the proble..
I am attaching a simple C++ code with the simple formula ([login to view URL]) that I compile with clang (clang++ -dynamiclib [login to view URL] -o [login to view URL]). I am also attaching the dinamic library [login to view URL] that I try calling in BVA using Declare PtrSafe Function myAdd Lib "Macintosh HD:usr:local:bin:[login to view URL]" Alias "sumar" (ByVal a As Double, ByVal b As Double) As Double, but always get "Run-time error '53': File not found: Macintosh HD:usr:local:bin:[login to view URL]".
