We are looking for a part time freelancer Data Scientist / Analyst for immediate start on a part time basis (TBD pending on profile) over the course of the next 2 weeks. This is to provide project support and is completely location free. English is a must, other languages are a plus. Day to day / project roles: - Your role will be to help us process the large amount of numeric data that our online consumer communities generate. - You will work directly with the strategic director to turn data that we extract or make, into meaningful conclusions for our clients. (you will be comfortable with marketing strategy and research concepts and apply these to the work) - You will be completely autonomous in your data management: extracting data, data cleaning and data analysis - You will also have a strong attention to detail, highly organized and focused on work quality. Professional Requirements: The ideal candidate has demonstrable and successful experience - in managing, processing and working with large amounts of qualitative (unstructured) and quantitative (structured) data sets in a marketing or market research context - Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of exercises and/or large data sets - Creating in-depth insight-based final reports in PowerPoint, with charts and commentary Specifically, the ideal candidate will be: - Familiar with a wide variety of market research techniques, both quantitative and qualitative, and insightful about where and when to apply them - Capable of incisive approaches to analyzing large data sets - Able to quickly and accurately analyze and chart raw quantitative data in Excel - proportions, means, subgroup analysis, correlations, etc. - Talented at beautiful data visualizations - Fast, flexible and responsive with creative solutions that help with the bigger picture Catalyx is a new breed of strategic marketing agency that was appointed Best New Agency of the 2014 year by the MRS.
