I need to build a count up timer using Arduino . For example : if using a laser beam or photo electric sensor.. once the beam or connection is broken the timer starts and once the beam or connection is solid or connected the timer stops. I need to program steps in the process. For example : after the timer hits 4 minutes a notification comes across on a TV that says "perform this step" and 2 minutes later at 6 minutes "perform the next step"... So it gives instructions to the user. The data should be recorded to a spreadsheet afterwards.
