Hello. I have reviewed your project. I think it is better to use a plc S7-1200 with a memory card for data logger. Data is stored in csv files. You can access webserver integrated in plc to download csv data files. i don't understand about maybe define 7 reasons. Could we discuss more for this? Thanks.

Hi I am an electronic engineer with more than 5 years of experience in the field of embedded systems. I have completed status monitor embedded systems few times, so that's why I decided to apply for the project. Since you have strict no use of Serial, then I believe most convenient option is ethernet. In that case we can easily use raspberry pi as the our platform. Also we can use simple 7 inch touch display as the display for showing monitor status if you need. Else we can host a web service on rpi and access using IP address. For your project I would use Codesys IDE in order to generate the code for PLC and web based HMI to be deployed on the Raspberry Pi. I have worked on projects to measure OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) looking at the operation time of machines, availability, etc. and prompting the operator to select from predefined list the reason why an equipment has been stopped.
