Note: state which software/code you'll be using - this is to separate real offers from those that do not even know what FEM means! Perform mechanical FEM analysis on the part in files: -Material is beryllium copper -My interest is: how much does the flat center surface move when a pressure difference P is applied -Pressure difference applied -100 and +100 Pa Simplification: If you can't calculate with pressure, a simplification of applying a corresponding force of -1 - +1 mN can be applied to see the magnitude. Also, mention if you can do similar simulation in different temperatures (-40 to +85°C) where the main body would be FR4 printed circuit board laminate. This will be interesting to me if the basic idea seems to work ok. Results required: numbers in micrometers for different pressures and a stress image of -100Pa case. The calculation grid does not have to be very dense, this is just to get an idea of the magnitude.

Hi, I am happy to execute this project for you. I have done similar FEA stress analysis projects in Freelancer.com and outside. I am good in both Ansys and Abaqus. Following will be the analysis features if the project is awarded. 1) Stress and strain analysis of the diaphragm under various pressure difference conditions. 2) Stress and strain analysis under a particular pressure difference, but various temperature condition. Material property will be different in each case. 3) Non linear behaviour of the material will be considered if the strain induced reaches that region. 4) Analysis will be checked for different grid density in order to make sure that the solution is independent of grid. 5) All the work done will be neatly recorded in report format with proper explanations. I can do the project using ANSYS WORKBENCH. I have using this tool for a very long time. I have been working as a professional analysis engineer. I have also executed few FEA projects on freelance.com.

I am an Aeronautical Engineer and I have a wide experience in doing FEM analysis. For solving this task I will use COMSOL Multiphysics, which is a widely used FEM analysis software in the aerospace industry, which I have been using for many years with excellent results. For the diaphragm I would use shell elements due to the low thickness of the diaphragm, which would require a large ammount of elements for getting accurate results. Being a Multiphysics software, it will allow me to do the Thermal analysis as well. I will write a report on the results and how the problem was solved. Hi, Just a brief background on myself, I am a mechanical engineer currently working in the manufacturing industry in Australia. I haven't completed many FEA projects over the past few years, however my university thesis project was a detailed shipping container modification which involved a great amount of FEA. I intend to use Solidworks Simulation to perform the analysis, or I can use ANSYS if preferred. I will need to confirm a few things with you before completing the analysis, starting with the following: - Is Berrylium-Copper UNS C17000 suitable for the analysis? - I will need to confirm the fixtures for the analysis. - Am I correct in saying you want to apply a 200 Pa pressure to the center surface of the diaphram? I have performed a preliminary analysis for your reference. I can send a screenshot to you by email if you wish.
