I have been working with CFD of hydro power turbines for past 8 years and I also have an undergoing research paper with simulation of low-cost wind turbine blades. I use ANSYS CFX and Fluent for my fluid simulations. Ansys provides accurate CFD and Fluid Structure Interaction(FSI) results so I prefer it. Regarding the analysis, I believe efficiency of the design and structural stiffness of blade will be of concern.
