I need temporary steel roof on top of my tanks to avoid rain fall inside while inner painting activities are on-going. therefore it needs to be cheap, light, easy to manufacture. I need to use common H or I beams for steel frame work. I will cover the steel frame with canvas. canvas weight will be approx 300gr/m2. The diameter of my tanks are 16 meters. there will be no support from inner side of the tank. Roof needs to be self supporting from edges of tanks. No snow weight, no earthquake risk. wind will be 14 m/s max. Safety factor needs to be 2. roof will be manufactured on ground so lifting points need to be specified. (tanks suitable to lift roof)
