Mechanical design

Fully design and detail a laser marker enclosure for a Class 4 Keyence MD-X brand hybrid laser. This is to be a generic enclosure for use with various sizes and shapes of customer parts. Enclosure must have the following requirements: -Working envelope of 15" cubed -Must be able to be certified as a class 1 laser system (Light tight) -Door must be automatic (pneumatic) -Must be manual or robot loading capable -Door can be configured to be manual if required by customer -Door must have RFID style safety switch -Any pinch points or hazards must be protected from operator -Work light must be present inside enclosure -Electrical enclosure must be present for Allen Bradley PLC, power supply, Ethernet switch, Fuses, and some expansion -Laser head must be outside the enclosure and facing the operator -All manufactured components must have complete drawings created -Full BOM must be supplied -All fasteners must be included in models -12"x12" (or smaller) window made of 1090nm Wave length OD 6+ must be in design -Fume extraction must be plumbed from fume extraction unit to fixture -Fume extraction unit shall be a Fumex brand FA1-Mini -Fixtures to be designed specifically for each customer part type, enclosure can be designed without a fixture, but it must be capable of easily installing and changing fixtures for different part types -Must be capable of installing "extras" such as a industrial camera for inspecting parts or marks -All files associated must be supplied -Must be "SEXY", not just a square box with door and laser head bolted to top. As small and light weight as possible. -Manufacturing costs must be a minimum, the idea is to mass produce a smaller cheaper enclosure. Please create a very basic concept, or connect picture and present it to me. Sexiest design that meets requirements will be awarded. This is the first project of hopefully a of a long term working relationship. Only applicants with a basic picture or concept for enclosure will be considered.
