Well the project was conceived with a view to using MATLAB and then getting MATLAB to link with circuitry to perform the required electronic actions. The first thing to do was to set the code up to track a single eye. You can even set up MATLAB so that it reads a video file of a single eye moving left, right, up and down. MATLAB would then identify these movements in a set of unique binary numbers that would then be sent to a decoder and interpreted into electronic signals.

I am a biomedical/electronic engineer. I have extensive experience in designing signal processing and machine learning algorithms. I have experience working with EOG signals which you have mentioned (electrooculography), I understand you are also interested in eye tracking using video, which is also possible with image processing. Hi. There I'm Ahmed.. I just viewed your description.. I think it the best methodology for tackle your project is to use a Segmentation based on location technique... This Segmentation would try to detect the locus of the ocular by trying to divide the image into many divisions like up left up middle up right and bottom right bottom left and bottom middle..and when the ocular makes a crossing on each of these locations the number coding the location is set to the output.. By the way I've been working on Matlab for nearly 5 years now and I'm a biomedical engineering graduate I'm finishing now master in biomedical engineering so I'm a bit familiar with many concepts.. I've placed in a bid which I think suitable for the size of the work but we can discuss that on the chat as well as deadline and other issues..
