I am looking for an excel tool where a user can input 10 values, it is converted to XML where it then calls an external website, the XML is pasted in a submitted, what is returned is a XML string which then is converted back in to Excel with highlight on specific values returned from the XML. I have an example of this file that DOESN'T WORK. And I am looking for something which is simple, not so many inputs and outputs. I know how to create xml file using Excel, submit the file to a website and parse the results. I have excellent command on MS Excel. I have completed complex projects in Excel before. For instance - Create a schedule for delivery trucks pick-up and drop for optimal utilization of resources based on various constraints - Get match details, odds and stats of tennis matches and place bet automatically on betfair (API), pinnacle (API) and tennisinsight (scraping) websites. - Buy and sell bitcoins on Coinfloor and GDAX using respective APIs. - Built a POS and inventory management system. - Built a hotel price comparison that pulls data using the website's API. Hi - I saw the file and the code behind it. I think a decent code has been written but its outdated. May be this was written sometime in early 2000s and never updated. Once its updated and compatibility brought in place it'll work. We may or may not be able to retain the same code structure. If i were to execute this, i would first clearly define the requirements -> Look for the processing logic in current code and see what can be reused -> Whatever cannot be reused (which can be entire program too) will be rewritten such that it has a decent life of atleast 5 years. I am myself a IT professional with 2 decades of professional experience servicing top companies in the world. Unlike many others i am not a company but an individual, so i will personally work on the assignment and will not pass it on to a team after getting it. Looking forward to working with you.
