This project involves the mapping of postcode data to Federal and State electorates in Australia. The attached spreadsheet has the following data sources, and all sources required for this project. Page 1 - The outcomes sheet which needs to be undertaken for this project Page 2 - The data set which requires matching Page 3 & 4 - Federal postcode data in relation to electorates Page 5 - State postcode data in relation to electorates Effectively for this project, we need to get the total number of occurrences on Page 2, mapped to electorates. For instance, page 2 line 3 - In postcode area 0810 there was one instance in 2015-16 This would then be used on page 3 or 4 to find the electorate ; in this case "Solomon" (Line 5, page 4). You would then go to Page 1 and Line 138 and enter 1 in Solomon. This would accumulate though, so if another occurred in the same electorate, it would be revised accordingly from "1" to "2" or higher as each incident occurred. Someone with suitable Excel skills could undertake the proper coding to achieve this in a short period of time.
