I am an Australian-based freelancer with extensive experience in designing Excel templates for handling complex datasets. I believe I will be able to create some much more attractive and user-friendly scheduling spreadsheets for your company.
I think the best way to do this may be to have a separate 'Home' page on your spreadsheet. On this page there will be a field to select an employee and a date (probably from a dropdown menu), and manually enter a task. I will build in a 'Commit' button, which will then transfer this data to the calendar on a separate sheet. If it is helpful, I can also include the ability to export monthly blocks from the calendar as .PDF files.
