Hire a Graphic Designer

Back Bay Boston-based Commercial Real Estate firm is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and self-starting junior-level graphic designer to assist the Marketing Director with the firm’s day-to-day print communications and digital graphics. This is a part-time, on-going freelance position. Must be able to work on-site two days/ week up to 20-25hrs. Qualifications / Requirements: • One to three years of professional experience in graphic design • Solid working knowledge of the latest Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a demonstrated ability to accomplish multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Create print-ready files for commercial print production • Proficiency with web content management systems (CRM - Wordpress) • Strong organization and attention to detail • Ability to write and edit content for online media (e-blasts, social media, Wordpress, etc.) a plus • Familiarity with industry-standard software, including Microsoft Office and Google based platforms. • Enthusiasm to learn and use new skills • Create print-ready files for commercial print production • Efficient with packaging and archiving final design files on a server • Photo editing experience • Photography and video production skills a plus • Familiar with Mailchimp (email marketing campaigns) and google analytics a plus • Mac-based designer • Works off of their own laptop and has access to the latest Adobe CS Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator • Professional design portfolio needed to be considered for the job • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design or related field. Projects will vary but include: print & digital graphics, brochure layouts, online advertising, email marketing, photo editing, creating maps and additional duties as assigned by the Marketing Director.
