Hiring a fulltime experienced wordpress designer / graphic designer / web developer

Your tasks would include: - Creating small business websites for our customers, from start to finish, websites as [login to view URL] 4+ years of WordPress Experience 2+ years of HTML, CSS, JS, PHP and MySQL experience 1+ years of WooCommerce Experience Expertise with modifying and managing themes and plugins Ability to develop/modify WordPress themes and plugins with clean, logical and reusable code that is compatible with all of the other plugins and themes Deep understanding of WordPress code Thirst to learn new things and constantly improve your work Problem Solver mentality - whether load times are slow or plugins are conflicting, you won't stop until things are running smoothly Innovator mindset - passion for finding new, creative ways to improve websites Interpersonal skills - positive and honest communication is critical to make sure all the teams are always on the same page Strong understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues Please note the quality of work that we expect. 90% of projects are assigned on Sunday and need to be completed within 5-7 days. Some of our projects are more complex, but our core focus is small business websites with an average budget of $400 per site TOTAL. You would build the site from start to finish and handle all aspects of design. You must be proficient in WordPress, Photoshop, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience of at least 2-4 years is required. If you have an eye for design, this is a huge asset. The applicant must be able to work in a fast paced environment. We do not do cookie cutter or template sites. If you can not design a quality logo from scratch in a few hours, this job is not for you. Time spent working would be 40-50 hours a week. We are focused on Eastern Standard Time (EST) from 11am-7pm. You can work in other parts of the world, but a few hours of your work day need to overlap. However, you will need excellent time management skills, as the team meets once per day to discuss deliverables, and are available from certain time periods for customer collaboration. This means you must be present, and regularly check-in to provide us with your status. Over-communication will be key to your success. People that have great habits in place for time tracking, organization and self-management are an ideal fit for us. We use time tracking. If you are an agency or a team, you are not a fit for us.
