logo for website and business card use About the name/services: Most of us have heard the phrase “Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly…” What you probably have not heard of are imaginal cells, which are the cells that “turn on” the process of metamorphosis that transforms a caterpillar into a butterfly. Those cells, which live in the caterpillar hold the blueprint of the butterfly and are dormant until the right moment, when it is the right time to start to become a butterfly. This is not an easy transformation. Initially, these cells are attacked as foreign, but they persist and multiply, eventually forming clusters, communicating in the same language – eventually no longer acting like separate cells and instead becoming a multiple-celled organization – a butterfly. Just like the becoming of a butterfly, Imaginal Leadership Coaching believes that change comes from the inside out and each of us holds the blueprint for change within us. As a developmental coach, I work with clients who know they are meant to transform - themselves, their organizations and those around them, as challenging and scary as it might be. I create safe and supportive spaces for clients to activate those imaginal cells - their internal blueprints for change, whether they want to be a more effective leader or want to make major personal or professional change. And, once we acknowledge and activate the potential within us, can you imagine what is possible?
