I have a long list of experience with subscription box websites and would love to work on this project with you. I am also a dog owner! I understand your concerns that Shopify does not look great when it comes to subscription boxes, and the apps there are costly. You mention Cratejoy but they take a percentage of each sale which initially seems good but can take a lot of your profit once you scale up. I would recommend 2 possibilities: 1. We look into Cratejoy alternatives together and find one that matches your needs exactly (I can work with any platform). 2. I can build a self-hosted platform on WooCommerce that runs subscription billing. This would cost the initial app fee and monthly hosting. Since you will also sell individual products, I would recommend option 2 but we can decide this together once I learn fully what you are trying to accomplish. I can handle everything you need with this and my experience can really help you with unforeseen problems that can arise with subscription billing.
