The SunBox is a container, modified with a photovoltaic system to store the energy of sun in Liion Batteries. The Batteries can be used to power ebikes, escooters, solar home systems that gives light, USB cell phone charge etc. Deliveries are made with Cargo bicycles. The SunBox provides also communication and internet and becomes a social hub and economic entre. Equipped as a solar shop, the SunBox focused on LED light, and electrification within communities living in remote ares or don’t have access to electricity and a adequate transport system. The SunBox can incooporate health centres or used for educational poposes. In a network it provides a reliable, affordable and easy to implement solution to empower people and increase affordable transport and electrification. The economic benefits are obvious: due to the SunBox system, the island is independened form fossil fuels and saves on their import. This saving are enough to build a SunBox system. Face climate change, many island are in danger and think of adopting a more sustainable economy.
