Travel Website

Requirements:- 1. An e-commerce website for travel domain for my new business venture. Please check [login to view URL] for different packages. My website is on similar concept. 2. Please check [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] for look and feel. These are the websites which I find catchy. 3. Marketplace model implementation in which a. Customer registration page. This is similar to what is there on every website (User Login/ Sign Up) b. Seller registration page. New seller can register itself using this page. Admin acknowledgement is the final step for seller registration process. c. Seller should be able to post a package, quantity of seats available, launch discounts. 4. Website should be compatible with various browsers – IE, Mozilla, Chrome, Safari. 5. Login option should have options of User Login or login through FB/Twitter. 6. Need provision where there is one Admin and multiple Sub-Admins. 7. Need Google Analytics/ any other free analytics tool to be merged. 8. Need provision to show photos and videos on Homepage. This only Admin should be able to change. 9. Need provision to show photos and videos with every package. This Admin and seller both should be able to show. I am expecting HD videos on Homepage and HD-ready on package pages. Quantity/ number of videos is expected to be around 1000+ in an years time. 10. Need a provision to launch various schemes like discounts, offers, flash messages. Also need a provision so that I should be able to handle it on my own. For example - a. Flash message on the top of homepage showing diwali discount for specific dates b. Pop-up message from the right-bottom of page when user is searching for Shimla packages. 11. Option for Online payment using Credit/ Debit Card, Internet Banking. (I am yet to buy a payment gateway) 12. Option to buy my package directly from Facebook required. What it means is I will create a my website‘s page on Facbeook and post the packages on it. Need an option on “BUY NOW” on FB directly. It will not redirect on my website but will directly book from there. Database and Financial management 9in short it should be synched with my website internals) is what is required here. 13. Financial requirement:- a. Service tax is applied while showing final price of a package. Leave service tax rate as an option to Admin to enter. b. Commission from seller will be different from different sellers. Admin should be able to set it for every seller and change it whenever required. c. Payment from a customer should go in my account. d. A separate section for Full and final for every seller. Seller will be paid every month automatically/ manually by Admin. 14. Platform used should be mobile ready/ interactive. I don’t have any plans to go for Mobile App right now. 15. Filters required: a. Search by Location b. Search by Activity c. Top rated packages 16. Blogging section required as a TAB on top panel. a. Any user should be able to write a blog, post photos, videos. b. Admin can delete anything. c. Like and share option for users 17. Review and rating section required: a. User should be able to write review for a package b. User to rate a package on a scale of 1-5. c. Admin rating on a scale of 1-5. Doubts:- 1. Expecting 1000 users per day. Which platform will you use to make website (wordpress/ magento/jumbla etc) and why? 2. Please suggest how to handle the video part because if I use Youtube then after a certain time it will start displaying advertisements (which I don't want). And I can't really afford a dedicated server at this point of time.
