My name is Alfredo, I'm director of an illustration/3D startup company called Candy Calavera, we have worked individually making 3D characters, props and environment assets for several projects; we specialize in cartoon-style characters and low-poly hand painted models. You can see some relevant samples of our previous work in the “3D characters” section of our portfolio. For these kind of characters we would: 1. Start with a high resolution model using ZBrush 2. Making a retopology process between ZBrush and Maya 3. UV unwrapping and optimization using Maya (we can also include LOD meshes if you need them) 4. Finally, making the hand painted textures using Photoshop, PaintStorm Studio or MediBang, depending on the style you want. Do you need just the modeling part, without rigging?
