Escapism is home to the interactive “Escape the Room” Experiences, originally based on the video game concept and now growing in popularity at an exponential rate. Escapism are looking for a new website to be built to incorporate a live calendar showing available slots and an online booking system where you can pay in advance. We additionally require a registration section where our guests will sign in on the day and we will store heir information for later usage.
Attached are the details for what is required, please quote for each section individually (denoted by *s and summarised below) and your projected time frame. Our budget is tight so it may be that we will have to drop some sections at the current time and pursue these later, so we need to understand the individual cost. The same applies to time scales, as we may need to prioritise the sections accordingly.
This build is urgent so we require someone who can start in the very near future and deliver to agreed deadlines. Please be advised that we ideally require all hosting etc to be provided but could provide this separately if required.
We require a site that is mobile and tablet friendly as our guests need to be able to book on the move if required and also to be able to sign in via a tablet we provide for them.
Our current website can be viewed at www.escapism.biz. Please note that this was built with a web builder and is insufficient for our needs. This gives you an idea of the content though.
Please also summarise your approach to this and provide links to websites you have built with similar features.
Please note that we are open to suggestions on the best way to integrate the calendar and booking form that will be feature-rich and provide our customers with what they need, but also cost effective. We have viewed other escape room websites as examples. We are open to discussion on the best way to have guests register however, we cannot compromise on the fact that this information must be gathered on the day, and not when booked and that this information must be entered by the guests and not by our staff member.
This is an exciting, innovative and quirky industry and we need a website that reflects this and also the high standards we deliver both in customer service and with all our products. There is potential to keep developing the website long term as we have some further innovations we'd like to add at a later date so we are keen to build a long standing relationship with someone who will continue to develop the project.
